Toby Carvery has confirmed it will be taking over a former Brewers Fayre restaurant that closed two months ago.

KentOnline previously reported Toby Carvery had registered interest in the vacant site just a week after its closure.
Now, the roast dinner chain has confirmed it will open a new restaurant there later this year.
A spokesperson added: “We are delighted to be bringing Toby Carvery, the home of roast, to Dover.
“This will be a significant investment and will create a number of jobs – we are excited about the potential for this venue.”
The chain currently operates four eateries across Kent, with sites in Thanet, Maidstone, Badgers Mount and Gravesend.

The Dover announcement comes just days after the chain submitted plans to Canterbury City Council to rebrand The Long Reach in Whitstable, which previously traded as a Beefeater.
Whitbread, which also owns Premier Inn, announced in April it would close its remaining Brewers Fayre and Beefeater restaurants across Kent as part of a major overhaul of its hospitality business.
Brewers Fayre sites in Dover, Sittingbourne and Paddock Wood were among those earmarked for closure, alongside eight Beefeater restaurants across the county.
In place of the traditional restaurant model, the company plans to introduce an “integrated food and drink” concept within its Premier Inn hotels.
