Back in the early 2000s, Oasis guitarist/vocalist Noel Gallagher started a feud with System Of A Down after referring to them as “the shittiest band of all time.” However, it appears System Of A Down guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian is still not over the diss.
On July 13, Malakian told a crowd at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England to yell “pull Oasis out of your ass” during a performance of “Needles.” He said the following about the lyric change:
“London, do you have an ass? I said, do you have an ass? Everybody say Ass! Ass! Ass! We have a little song about a tapeworm. Just for fun today, I’m going to name the tapeworm. Today I’m gonna name the tapeworm Oasis.”
On July 15, Malakian also blamed Oasis for England’s World Cup loss while at the same venue. He said the following:
“Don’t boo me, boo Oasis.”
“So I heard the score is now 1-1. If you guys lose, I blame Oasis.”
