With 21 stages and four major jersey competitions to follow, the Tour de France standings can change through time gaps, bonus seconds, breakaway moves, sprint points, mountain points, and decisive race incidents. This page will follow those changes throughout the 2026 Tour de France.
General Classification Standings after Stage 15
The climb to the Plateau de Solaison has been the one to create the biggest differences thus far at the Tour de France. Unsurprisingly, the incredibly steep ascent that closes out the Tour’s second week has put in massive time gaps on the overall classification.
Jonas Vingegaard‘s withdrawal from the race puts Tadej Pogacar in an even more comfortable position when it comes to the yellow jersey, and today he already put himself in service of Isaac del Toro. The Slovenian did not win the stage, but paced for the Mexican up the final climb. He, Remco Evenepoel and Isaac del Toro put almost a minute into Paul Seixas and Florian Lipowitz; whilst Juan Ayuso arrived around two minutes behind.
The race gains further shape. Pogacar’s lead over second place, now Evenepoel, is of exactly five minutes. Isaac del Toro has jumped onto third place in the overall classification from seventh, now 5:58 minutes behind. Paul Seixas is fourth at 6:23; Florian Lipowitz is fifth at 6:48; Juan Ayuso is sixth at 7:25. This should be the fight for the final podium.
Mattias Skjelmose is now seventh at 9:38 and continues to team up with Lenny Martínez on the summit finishes to limit each others’ losses. Martínez jumped two positions up and is 10:28 minutes away. Tom Pidcock has gotten himself in the day’s breakaway and had a strong finish, solidifying his place in the Top10. He is now 8:30 minutes ahead of Jordan Jegat, who is closing out the Top10 just as he did last year.
But Vingegaard’s withdrawal means a separate fight for the final spot in the Top10 has opened up, with Jegat standing only a few minutes ahead the flying Yannis Voisard who climbed six positions today; Richard Carapaz, Ilan van Wilder, Adam Yates and Davide Piganzoli who are all still within reach of this position.
Points Classification Standings after Stage 15
Tim Merlier’s withdrawal from the Tour de France means the fight for the green jersey has one less contender, but the Top3 continue to fight for every intermediate sprint throughout the Tour. Mads Pedersen remains in the lead, but has lost another 5 points to Jasper Philipsen who won today’s sprint.
Pedersen has 417 points now, 31 more than Jasper Philipsen and 66 more than Biniam Girmay who continues to loom within reach of the maillot vert.
King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 15
The KOM classification has not had any meaningful changes, seeing that Richard Carapaz and Valentin Paret-Peintre were unable to join the day’s breakaway. Hence Tadej Pogacar, through another climbing performance towards the finish line, gathered more points for the standings.
He now has 67 over Paret-Peintre’s 45, Richard Carapaz’ 39 and Paul Seixas’ 34. With Jonas Vingegaard out of the race, there is one less competitor.
Youth Classification Standings after Stage 15
Isaac del Toro has jumped into the lead of the youth classification. The young Mexican had a great final climb to Plateau de Solaison and, with the help of Tadej Pogacar, put time into his direct rivals. He is now 25 second ahead of Paul Seixas and 1:30 minutes ahead of Juan Ayuso to take on the white jersey.
Teams Classification Standings after Stage 15
Lidl-Trek had Quinn Simmons put on a stellar ride this afternoon and maintained its lead in the teams’ classification. They now stand 3:19 minutes ahead of UAE Team Emirates – XRG, who also had a very strong finale. The gap is thin heading into the final week, but UAE has not yet caught up with their rivals.
