Avengers: Doomsday’s full trailer has finally landed online after a long wait for MCU fans. It’s our best look yet at the eagerly-awaited MCU movie, following four character-focused teasers over Christmas 2025.
Marvel is holding a Comic-Con panel this Saturday night (early hours of Sunday morning UK time) where it was expected to unveil the trailer. However, they’ve surprised us all by releasing the trailer at the same time as tickets have gone on sale for select screenings of Avengers: Doomsday in the US.
The trailer follows an ominous teaser on Sunday night where a clip from The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which had been posted every week for a year, ended with new audio of Sue Storm asking Reed Richards “how long” they had.
We’re sure the trailer will make you even more desperate to see the movie, yet you’ve still got five months to wait as Avengers: Doomsday lands in cinemas on 18 December.

The trailer not only gives us our first proper look at Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom, even if we don’t see his face, but also a tease of the various battles in the movie, including Shang-Chi against Gambit, Mystique against Yelena Boleva and Thor against Doctor Doom.
It’s all very dark, including when Thor notes that they’re “going to need a miracle”. Cue the arrival of Steve Rogers to Thor’s disbelief.
How exactly he is back is still a mystery, given we saw him as a old man at the end of Avengers: Endgame, but he still knows how to summon Mjölnir though, which he does straight out of Thor’s hands.

Along with the full trailer, Marvel has also released a new synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday, but if you’re hoping for more information, all you really get is more promotion for Infinity Vision.
“Universes collide and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered,” it reads.
“This epic film will lay the foundation for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. See it in Infinity Vision, the way it’s meant to be seen, on bigger, brighter and more immersive screens.”
Avengers: Doomsday is released in cinemas on 18 December.
