A three-year-old boy has tragically died after falling into a pond in Merseyside on Saturday night (July 19).
Emergency services were called to an address on Brownmoor Lane in Crosby to reports that a boy had fallen into a pond.
Both Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service attended the incident and the child was taken to hospital where he died. The death is not believed to be suspicious, the ECHO reports.

Officers are continuing to support the family of the young boy and enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm that emergency services were called to an address on Brownmoor Lane in Crosby on Saturday evening (July 18) following a report a three-year-old boy had fallen into a pond.
“The North West Ambulance Service and police attended and the child was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment where he was sadly pronounced deceased.
“Our officers continue to support the family and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
