Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a phone was allegedly stolen from a delivery van.

The device was reportedly taken from the truck on Summer Lane, around 9.45am on March 18 in birmingham-city-centre>Birmingham city centre, police said.

West Midlands Police officers released an image and is asking anyone who recognises the man in the picture to contact the force.

People can contact West Midlands Police via 101 or their website and are asked to identify the crime reference number at the bottom of the story.

The West Midlands Police appeal said: “Do you recognise this man ? We would like to speak to him after a mobile phone was stolen from a delivery truck on Summer Lane, Birmingham.

“The phone was taken on the morning of 18 March, at around 9.45am.

“If you recognise the man contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 quoting crime reference number 20/179037/25.
