Taking place at the Granton Hub’s Madelvic House, the Big Nature Drawathon has been organised in partnership with Nature in Granton for “an artistic celebration of nature”.
Billed as a “fun creative weekend celebrating nature and art in our community”, artists of all levels have been invited to attend on 25 and 26 July.
The Saturday event will take place from 10:30am to 3:30pm while the full exhibition of work will take place on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.

Activities will include learning plant identification through sketching, designing a mythical beast of Granton, clay creature sculpting, as well as an “ant’s eye view” up close to tiny worlds.
Teas, coffees and snacks will also be provided by donation.
