It was a hugely contentious result that denied Allen a career-best win, but he gained a measure of revenge on Saturday evening as he knocked down his opponent in round five once again but, this time, did not leave the result in the hands of the judges as he knocked Fisher down again with seconds left of the round to become the new WBA Intercontinental heavyweight champion.
