One mum and her daughter said: “My daughter was awake at the time. She heard it all. The bang woke me up.”
Her daughter said: “It was after one. I was still awake, the bang was so loud, I thought a lorry had overturned that’s how loud it was. I looked outside my window and there was smoke everywhere.”
The mum added: “We went outside after and police were telling everyone to stay back. It was so awful, it looks so bad there’s debris everywhere. It’s sad. Really terrifying.”
