EasyJet has launched new flights departing from Bristol Airport to the ‘capital of Christmas’ for this winter.
We may have only just started the summer holidays, but it’s never too early to start thinking about that magical winter getaway abroad for later in the year. Especially when easyJet has just announced new flights to one of the most sought-after Christmas destinations, which is guaranteed to bring all the festive merriment.
From 20 November 2026, travellers will be able to jet off abroad to Strasbourg in France, direct from Bristol Airport, thanks to easyJet’s new route. It will depart twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, ideal for those long weekend winter escapes, with the journey taking just an hour and a half.

Strasbourg is widely known as the ‘capital of Christmas’ due to its historic festive market, Christkindelsmärik, which has been running continuously since 1570. More than 300 wooden chalets decorate the city’s centre during the festive period in what is France’s oldest Christmas market.
It attracts visitors from far and wide to experience its yuletide spirit, and easyJet is now the only airline that offers a direct connection to the fairytale city. Package holidays to Strasbourg are available to book with easyJet holidays, inclusive of flights and hotel, with a three-night getaway starting from £268 per person.
Flights are also available to book now for trips from 20 November, with prices starting from £49.99 per person. This route is welcome news for those who use Bristol Airport, the closest and most convenient airport for Somerset residents.
And for those who also use other UK airports, which can sometimes offer cheaper flights to other destinations, easyJet also confirmed an additional two new routes this week.

The budget-friendly airline launched new routes and package holidays from London Luton to Pristina in Kosovo. These flights, costing from £43.99, will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting from 7 December, just in time for that winter escape to a capital packed with striking modern architecture, historic landmarks, and thriving cafe culture.
A new route from Belfast to Aberdeen has also been announced, which will kick off on 4 January and operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. EasyJet is the only airline to provide a direct connection to the two UK maritime cities, with package holidays available at either destination and flights start from just £18.99.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “We are pleased to be launching three new routes from our UK airports for this winter, including our first route from the UK to Kosovo. We are committed to providing our customers with greater choice and these new routes offer travellers convenient access for a winter break in two European destinations as well as expanding domestic connectivity between Northern Ireland and Scotland.”
