A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being hit by a tram in Wythenshawe.
It happened at the Benchill Metrolink stop, on Brownley Road, at around 6:45pm this evening (Friday, July 24).
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) confirmed a tram collided with a pedestrian.

An eyewitness said a number of ambulances, police vehicles and fire engines attended the scene.
The Manchester Evening News understands the pedestrian were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
No further details about them, including their age and gender, are yet to be confirmed.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have been approached for comment.
Trams were temporarily suspended on a stretch of the Manchester Airport line whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
A TfGM spokesperson said: “Earlier this evening we responded to an incident involving a tram and a pedestrian at the Benchill station on the Airport Metrolink line, alongside emergency services.
“Our thoughts are with those involved and we’re looking into the circumstances of the collision.
“Trams were temporarily suspended between Robinswood Road and Roundthorn, however have since resumed normal service.”
