NEW LONDON, Conn. (WFSB) – A vehicle was reportedly struck by gunfire early Saturday morning in New London, according to police.
Just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, an individual arrived at police headquarters to report that their car had been struck by a bullet earlier that morning in the area of Chelsea Street and East Street.
Officers inspected the vehicle and confirmed that it had been struck by a projectile. Patrol units canvassed the area and found evidence supporting the initial report.
No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
