Celebrity Big Brother stars JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have been reunited during a trip to Mexico, with the pair sharing an intimate photo of them lying on a couch. The controversial pair grew close in the Big Brother house, much to the disappointment of JoJo’s partner at the time, Kath Ebbs.
Dance Moms star JoJo, 21, has finally seen her “soulmate” again – for the first time since returning to the US. And Love Island star Chris, 32, has taken a 12 hour flight to meet her in Mexico, where she was booked for a show.
Sharing their reunion on Snapchat, Chris posted about meeting up with JoJo, writing: “Finally reunited.” He posted a snap of the pair lying on a couch together, with JoJo on top of him, resting her hand on his chest.
Their friendship raised eyebrows as they got close together during their three week stint in the Big Brother house. Singer and dancer JoJo identified as a lesbian when she went into the house, but swiftly dumped her partner Kath when she left.

Australian content creator Kath had watched them get close on screen and admitted to feeling “numb” after being unceremoniously dumped straight after. And rumours of a potential romance between Chris and JoJo are only being further fuelled now they’ve left CBB.
Viewers watched the pair immediately form a close bond, with them seen hugging and becoming increasingly tactile towards each other. They even communicated with a secret code – their ‘double tap’ was code for ‘I love you’.
With Chris deciding to give Celebs Go Dating a miss after leaving the house, it seems that fans are just waiting to hear the news that they’re together. In a statement, a spokesperson said: “Before entering Big Brother, Chris agreed to join the Celebs Go Dating agency and having his love life placed into the hands of the agents. However, after an incredible but very intense experience in Big Brother, he is taking some time to decompress.”
Although Chris may still take part in the dating show in the future, fans are suspecting it is so he can pursue a romance with JoJo, who is 11 years his junior. And JoJo has done nothing to shut down the possibility, even calling him an “absolute gem”.

Speaking during an on-stage chat at Stanford Speakers Bureau for A Night with JoJo Siwa, she said: “I mean look, we have the absolute most fun together and he is an absolute gem that’s come into my life.”
When they crowd responded with ‘awww’, she joked: “Don’t let him see this it will boost his ego!” She continued: “Genuinely something I love about him so much is that he has zero ego, he’s a really incredible sweet man. I told him this on the last night, maybe it wasn’t the last night but sometime. I said you’re a vital part of my life that I didn’t know was missing.
“But I’m happy that I don’t have to anymore. So yeah he is an awesome guy and I think he will be around for a very long time.” Responding to wolf whistles from her fans, she added: “He’s a keeper, we’ll keep him around, we’ll see.”
During a recent appearance on This Morning, Chris also offered clarity. He explained: “It’s a soulmate friendship. It’s not your typical friendship, but it’s still a friendship. We’re friends.”
JoJo echoed him, saying: “He’s a gorgeous boy, look, he’s a great guy… it is platonic, we have a lot of fun together.” She added thoughtfully: “Life is life and I don’t know any future of anything but I’m really grateful for the dynamic that we have and the bond that we have. Whatever life does, life will do.”
