Police have charged a man with shoplifting after an alleged incident at Birmingham Airport. Officers were deployed as part of Project Servator.
Items were stolen from M&S at Birmingham Airport. Anthony Ramsey, 41, was charged with shoplifting on Sunday (July 26).
Ramsey, of Rosemary Close, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on August 27. Officers said they are continuing to patrol Birmingham Airport as part of Project Servator.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Anthony Ramsey, from Coventry, was charged on Sunday (July 26) after items were stolen from M&S in Birmingham Airport. He is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on August 27.
“Project Servator is a policing operation that aims to disrupt criminality while providing a reassuring presence for the public. Deployments take place regularly and unpredictably in and around Birmingham Airport as well as other areas in the force.”
