Emergency services were called to the scene after revellers were left dangling in mid-air when a fun fair ride broke down in Belfast city centre.
The incident happened on Sunday afternoon as thousands flocked to Belfast city centre to attend the all-Ireland Fleadh.
The Skyswing ride stopped in mid-flight as passengers were on board at a fair ground along the Dunbar link inside the pedestrianised area, which is closed off for the event.
It is understood that fire and rescue teams were called and attended the scene.

However, NIFRS was not required to intervene as the fair ground operators managed to bring the passengers down using their own techniques.
A Belfast City Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of this incident and understand it has now been managed by the operator.
“This funfair is not part of the official Fleadh programme and is not operated by the council.
“However, as the safety and wellbeing of all visitors to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is our top priority, we have raised this incident with the operators to ensure the safety of visitors to their attraction.”
