Nagpur: The reprinted collection of five books by the revered Pragnachakshu Sant Gulabrao Maharaj was successfully launched on Sunday in Nagpur at a well-attended ceremony. The event’s highlight was the insightful address by Union minister Nitin Gadkari, who emphasised the profound value of the saint’s literary works.Gadkari lauded Sant Gulabrao Maharaj’s literature as an ‘invaluable treasure of great knowledge and spiritual wisdom’. However, he advised the Shri Sant Gulabrao Maharaj Sansthan against distributing the newly published books for free. “Everything that is free becomes valueless for many,” he stated, urging the trust to set a nominal price for the books. He reasoned that this would encourage readers to understand the worth of the wisdom contained within and engage with it more seriously, while also generating some revenue for the trust.Gadkari also shared his personal connection to the saint, mentioning repeatedly that his late mother held immense faith in Gulabrao Maharaj, whom he also considers a miracle. He attributed his proactive role in facilitating the reprinting of the Maharaj’s books to his mother’s deep devotion, expressing his belief that her soul would be pleased by the successful launch. He reiterated his profound respect for Sant Gulabrao Maharaj.Looking ahead, Gadkari requested the trust to develop a website and online content dedicated to the Maharaj’s extensive literature, making it accessible to the new generation in the digital realm.Dr Nainda Kadu, a scholar who earned her PhD through research on Sant Gulabrao Maharaj’s literature, echoed the sentiment regarding the significance of the saint’s work. Speaking at the event, Dr Kadu highlighted the persistent high demand for Sant Gulabrao Maharaj’s books, underscoring the successful efforts of the trust in Madhan to bring about their republication with the initiative of Gadkari. She noted that five books, including the Maharaj’s biography, were successfully reprinted.Secretary of Shri Sant Gulabrao Maharaj Trust, Madhan, Amravati, Sahebrao Mohod, and a descendant of the Maharaj, Rajabhau Mohod, were also present at the launch. The event saw the participation of numerous individuals from spiritual and religious fields, including Alka Indapawar.Nagpur: The reprinted collection of five books by the revered Pragnachakshu Sant Gulabrao Maharaj was successfully launched on Sunday in Nagpur at a well-attended ceremony.
