Several with claims, none more so than MISTER MOJITO (NAP), who’s well handicapped for an in-form yard and fancied to make it 4-4 round here under Jack Callan. Rogue Dynasty is capable but has been turned over as favourite or second-favourite nine times since her turf win last summer, leaving Daisy Roots as second choice.

Provided she handles the AW track, then LANGDALE LASS rates the standout contender after her encouraging debut here on turf. Fortunate could improve for going over 7f, though she’s had a few chances now and it wouldn’t be a surprise should Wild Orchid reverse their recent course placings on the grass.

Having shaped nicely on her debut, MINNAL helped set the race up for the closers at Epsom early last month, and that effort was a bit better than it looked. She’s preferred to the more-exposed Jazzy Blue, who ran up to her turf best when a clear second on Tapeta last time.

Perhaps the most interesting runner is REPOSADO, who has threatened this year in Ireland and joined a respected yard. If Phoenix Moon is to get back on track, it will probably be here, and she’s second choice, ahead of Style King.

Tactics are always key in these small fields but, all things being equal, the 3yo TABASKO might be up to the task, having progressed since raised in distance. Taritino has had a good year under both codes, and he’s solid too.

The filly KOKO BLUE has been in good form since joining Tom Clover and can gain a breakthrough win. Gearing’s Point was on the scoresheet two starts ago and is second choice ahead of Hope Rising.

James Owen has won any number of races with new recruits, and it wouldn’t be a shock were he to do so again with D Day Major Winter, a regressive maiden for three previous yards. Otherwise, OFFIAHS BOY, a straightforward, proven winner who’s well handicapped and stays further, is likely to try and make this a proper test having bounced back to form on Friday. Gert Lush, who isn’t as good now but still capable at this level, is another to consider.
