Birmingham City, Wrexham and Southampton are among several clubs interested in Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison, according to the Daily Echo.

Birmingham City, Wrexham and Southampton are all hoping to be in the Championship promotion hunt this season. Wrexham narrowly missed out on the Championship play-offs last term, while Southampton had their play-off finish scuppered by Spygate.

All three sides are looking to bolster their attack before the transfer window shuts, according to the Daily Echo. Bournemouth’s Daniel Jebbison is on their radar, however they may face a battle to get the deal done.

Bundesliga side Hamburg as well as Serie A outfit Genoa are also keen on Jebbison. The striker has impressed during pre-season with Bournemouth and is looking to fight for his place with the Premier League side.

Blackburn Rovers have been heavily linked with a move for Jebbison this summer and had reportedly agreed terms on a loan-to-buy deal. Preston North End were also eyeing up another loan move for him after his spell with them last season.

Time for Jebbison to secure a permanent move?

Jebbison, who has been capped seven times by Canada, faces an uncertain future at Bournemouth after his loan spell at Preston North End. The Cherries must now decide whether the striker is ready to compete for a place or should continue his development elsewhere.

The Ontario-born forward joined Bournemouth in 2024 and has since built up valuable experience through loan spells. As well as his time at Preston, he also spent a period at Watford while the south coast club assessed his long-term prospects.

Earlier in his career, Jebbison also had a loan spell at Burton Albion while on the books at Sheffield United. Although he has been handed opportunities at both the Blades and Bournemouth, he has yet to establish himself as a regular starter.

The Verdict: Jebbison would be a good pickup for all three interested sides

Birmingham City could see Jebbison as someone to bolster their attacking department. If BCFC landed him, he would give them more competition and depth at the top end of the pitch.

The Blues will need to bring in another forward if they sell Marvin Ducksch and/or Kyogo Furuhahi. Southampton are in a similar boat after losing Ross Stewart, who is seemingly bound for Swansea City on a free transfer.

Wrexham on the other hand are yet to lose any of their first team forwards. However, they could use a player of Jebbison’s profile, both in terms of ability and strengths and age profile.

Only Bailey Cadamarteri is under the age of 28 of all five of Wrexham’s strikers. With that in mind it is easy to see why Jebbison would be on their radar.
