Patrick Street, an 11/2 chance ridden by Mikey Sheehy for A Kinirons, took the Festive Day Dancing At Ayr Racecourse Classified Stakes finale by a head from favourite Flying Moonlight – while preview verdict Wicklow Way could finish only fourth.

The Race Story
Twelve went to post for the mile-and-a-quarter closer after Charencey’s morning withdrawal, and it produced the tightest finish of the night. Sean Kirrane – a winner earlier on Pol Roger in the 18:30 – looked poised to complete a double on 9/4 favourite Flying Moonlight, but Sheehy conjured a final effort from Patrick Street to get up by a head on the line.
Falaise Blanc ran a fine race at 9/1, three and a quarter lengths back in third and best of the Keith Scott pair, with Wicklow Way a length and a quarter further adrift in fourth having been unable to land a blow from the rear of the leading group.
Tipster Accountability
A miserable night for the form book ended fittingly. Our morning Ayr preview made Wicklow Way the 2/1 verdict; he drifted to 7/2 and finished fourth, completing an 0/6 evening for the Ayr verdicts. The Tiger–Wicklow Way double had already died when Tiger was touched off in the 18:30, and the 60/1 accumulator never survived the opener. None of the tracked names in today’s tipster review were engaged at Ayr tonight.
Looking Ahead
