Rumours recently emerged that Nintendo would be producing a limited edition Zelda-themed Switch 2 and Pro Controller, and well, it seems that this is indeed true.
Images of the product boxes have been posted online (thanks, Nintendo Everything), and they look extremely legit. Both contain the 40th anniversary logos for the series along with all the usual small print you’d expect to find.
The console itself looks to sport black and dark green Joy-Con 2 controllers with the iconic Triforce featured heavily on both. Meanwhile, the dock is black and gold and once again showcases the Triforce in all its glory.
The Pro Controller carries on the same theme, with black, green and gold colours along with what looks to be the Royal Crest in the centre.
Honestly, both look pretty slick. Take a look:

With this now out in the wild, it should only be a matter of time until Nintendo lifts the lid on its plans to celebrate Zelda’s 40th anniversary. We already know a remake for Ocarina of Time is on its way later this year, but beyond an initial announcement trailer, we don’t have much more to go on.
