SEATTLE — Cunard has strengthened its North America sales organization with three appointments supporting travel advisors and key accounts across Canada and the U.S.

The appointments, alongside continued investment in Cunard’s Partner Support team, reflect Cunard’s commitment to provide advisors with dedicated regional support, says the cruise line.

Most importantly for the Canadian market, Ruth Fernandez has been promoted to BDM, Key Accounts, Western USA & Canada.

Fernandez began transitioning into the position in early July and is expected to complete the transition by the end of August.

She brings more than 20 years of travel industry experience. Prior to her promotion, she spent three years leading Cunard’s Partner Support team, overseeing Reservations, World Club, Military Benefits and Stockholder Benefits programs.

Cunard’s other appointments are Florentina Florescu as BDM, Key Accounts, Northeast Region, and Ian O’Ryan joins Cunard as BDM, Key Accounts, Southeast Region.
