Ealing Council is heading to Leeds this week, aiming to entice property developers and investors with a bold new investment prospectus, prime locations ready for transformation and some of the best transport links in the capital.

Senior figures from the borough – including council leader Councillor Peter Mason, chief executive Tony Clements along with council officers – will attend the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) from 20 to 22 May 2025, using the event to position as a prime destination for development.

With five Elizabeth line stations and Heathrow nearby, Ealing is positioning itself as the “economic engine of West London.”

Council representatives will argue that its high street, cultural landmarks including Ealing Studios along with educational institutions such as University of West London make it a strong proposition for developers seeking opportunities.

The council will also launch a new investment prospectus at the event and participate in a series of panels and roundtables, including a breakfast hosted with Opportunity London and a discussion on West London’s role in the national growth agenda.

Councillor Mason said: “Giving all parts of our borough and all residents a chance to share in prosperity is one of the fundamental missions that drives my administration. Our seven towns have distinct strengths and potential to grow with a wide variety of different investment opportunities.

“That is why UKREIIF is important to us. It gives us the opportunity to meet with people from across the development sector and make the case for the borough as one of the best connected and most exciting investment opportunities in the UK. It already has transport links that are among the best in the country, and with the new HS2 superhub at nearby Old Oak set to create our eighth town, this is the time to take a fresh look at our bold plans and help us fulfil our ambition for the borough.”

UKREiiF is expected to bring together thousands from across the property and infrastructure sectors.
