What a treat to hear a classical concert pianist move into the interpretation of jazz.
The chemistry between the orchestra and her delightful playing meant that I would hope the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) and Yuja Wang repeat this experience for others in other venues.
The pieces ranged through the emotions; each being just as moving as any other. My only complaint would be that it was far too short.
