Thousands of Glasgow homes were left without power after a fire at an electrical substation.
The blaze at the Bellshill facility broke out on Saturday and led to power outages affecting more than 60 Glasgow postcodes.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were called out at around 11am on Saturday, August 15, after reports of smoke coming from the substation on Clay Crescent.
Two appliances attended and the fire was quickly extinguished.
The fire service said no casualties had been reported and firefighters have since left the area.
Scottish Power confirmed that the fire had led to 64 postcodes being affected by an outage, and said some people may still be affected.
A Scottish Power spokesperson said: “We have repaired the problem with the electricity supply in your area.
“There may still be some tidying up to do, and any details have been passed to our Maintenance department, who will attend to it as soon as possible.
“Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.”
