Residents at a Glasgow care home went ‘back to school’ this week as children across the city did likewise.
The ladies from Causeway Church have been bringing friendship, laughter and companionship to Haydale Care, in Tollcross, and helped put on a nostalgic trip for the residents.
Minister Monika and the Causeway Church dressed up as schoolgirls, and brought a fantastic selection of school-themed props and music.

Residents were encouraged to share their own memories of school days, sparking lots of smiles, laughter and stories from the years gone by.
From favourite subjects, to childhood mischief, and even remembering the dreaded belt, there were plenty of stories to tell and memories to share.

Rosa Mowatt summed up the nostalgia perfectly, saying: “School days were a mixture of fun, friendship and a few times when you knew you were in trouble!
