A US-made AI chip has been found inside Russia’s new S-71 Monochrome cruise missile, offering a glimpse into how Moscow may be using foreign technology to enhance its weapons.
According to Kyiv Post, Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, HUR, identified an Nvidia Jetson Orin computer module among the components of the new Russian air-launched missile.
The agency said the presence of the module may point to the integration of artificial intelligence into the weapon, although it did not specify what role the chip plays.
