Bristol Airport has unveiled four new F&B concepts for its expanded departure lounge, including the first airport location for Bristol-born restaurant brand Cosy Club.
Bill’s, Cosy Club, wagamama and Tap + Brew will open from summer 2027 as part of the airport’s £400m transformation programme.
Bristol Airport Head of Retail Kate Gwyther said: “We’re delighted to welcome these exciting and much-loved restaurants to Bristol Airport. We’re on a mission to offer our customers some really great options to suit their tastebuds, dietary requirements, time and pocket.”
Avolta will operate Bill’s, which is scheduled to be the first of the four restaurants to open in early summer. The restaurant’s all-day dining will include breakfast, lunch and dinner, alongside Coeliac UK-approved gluten-free options. The opening will be Bill’s second UK airport location.
TRG Concessions will operate Cosy Club and wagamama. Cosy Club, part of Loungers Group, will make its airport debut at Bristol. The business has its roots in the city, where its founders opened the first Lounge restaurant on North Street in 2002.
Its airport menu will include breakfasts, small plates and other dishes, with West Country suppliers including Baker Tom in Cornwall and Philip Warren Butchers represented on the menu.
Wagamama is also scheduled to open in summer 2027, offering its established menu of curries, ramen and bao buns alongside breakfast, children’s and vegan options. The restaurant will feature the brand’s communal benches and an open kitchen.
Tap + Brew will follow in autumn 2027 and will be operated by SSP UK & Ireland.
The bar and kitchen will serve craft beer and cider from Bristol brewer Wiper and True, alongside other beers, seasonal drinks, low- and no-alcohol options and cocktails. Its food menu will include fish and chips, burgers, nachos and breakfast dishes.
The concept will feature copper tanks, locally inspired artwork and a mix of seating for individuals and groups.
Gwyther added: “This is just the beginning of a very exciting transformation for our customers, creating a new level of shopping and dining at the Airport. The departure lounge will feel much more inviting, spacious and brighter with more seats.”
The restaurants form the first phase of a wider overhaul of Bristol Airport’s departure lounge. Further concepts are due to be announced in 2027, including coffee shops, fast-food outlets, grab-and-go concepts, premium bars and a speakeasy bar.
The redesign will almost double the number of shops and restaurants, with 17 additional units planned, including premium retail brands. The departure lounge will also have about 20% more general airport seating.
Bristol Airport‘s terminal transformation began in 2025, with more than £60m being invested in improvements to the passenger experience.
