A house fire in Derry has been extinguished after a major response on Wednesday.
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service group commander Geoff Somerville said the alarm of the fire at a property in the Bloomfield Park area was raised around 3.40pm.
The response included two appliances from Northland, two from Crescent Link as well as an appliance and command support unit from Strabane.
The fire was extinguished at 6.15pm, with an investigation ongoing.
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson also said that a rapid response paramedic and an ambulance officer were dispatched, but “no one was taken from the scene by ambulance.”
