Oasis haven’t even confirmed a 2027 tour, but one Manchester hotel has ‘closed’ bookings in June amid the rumours

A Manchester hotel has been found to have prevented customers from booking dates in June and July in case Oasis announce a 2027 tour. An email seen by the Manchester Evening News showed that the a Deansgate hotel has ‘closed’ off bookings for next summer ahead of an anticipated announcement.
As previously reported, multiple sources have told the M.E.N. that a 12-night residency is being planned at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium in 2027, as part of a major world tour, as well as a return to Knebworth for a run of shows. The record-breaking run of nights could also be extended depending on demand.
Industry sources have suggested the “end of August” is the time the Oasis machine will gear up for the massive tour announcement. There is talk of “Thursday, Friday and Saturday night gigs at the Etihad across June”.

And fans hoping to be in with a chance to secure a ticket for the new Oasis tour should keep the middle week of September clear. As the Manchester Evening News understands from sources that will be the time for tickets to be released.

It is set to spark an epic scramble for tickets, given the 2025 tour broke all records amid the clamour from millions of fans to be at the live shows across the world. It will also mean a huge rush for hotel rooms.
Yotel on Deansgate has closed off its bookings for the entirety of June and July, with customers unable to even book a room at the city centre hotel at all for that period. An email seen by the hotel, which was received by a prospective customers states that bookings are “closed” for that period because they are “waiting” on Oasis to announce 2027 tour dates.

The prospective customer, who was looking to book a room at the hotel in June, was greeted by a screen to say there was no availability. When they enquired with the hotel as to why they could not book they say they were told it was because they were waiting for Oasis dates to be announced, which the customer described to the M.E.N. as ‘scamming Oasis fans’ and ‘despicable’.
The email chain, seen by the M.E.N. sees the customer ask via a request form whether it is a mistake that they are unable to book a room for next June. A member of staff at Yotel Manchester Reception responded: “Right now is closed because we are waiting when Oasis announced dates for their new tour which supposed to be in June”.
On the Yotel Manchester website, when selecting any dates for June and July, a message appears stating, ‘We are closed’ on any June and July date selected. It asks customers to look for “alternative dates”.

Screenshots taken this morning (August 19) by the M.E.N. show that availability through May up until June and July, which are booked out, before showing availability again for early August.
Yotel Manchester Deansgate opened as a Yotel property in November 2021, on the corner of Deansgate and John Dalton Street The 261-room hotel located at 2 John Dalton Street previously operated as a Qbic Hotel, which had initially opened in May 2021 before being acquired and rebranded later that year.

Rooms come with ‘Urban Jungle’ amenities – from solar panels to water saving showers – as well as fast WiFi and self check-in desks run around the clock. Within the hotel, guests have access to a number of facilities including an all-day bar and restaurant called Motley Manchester.
A Yotel spokesperson said: “Ahead of major events, we release availability in stages to manage anticipated demand and to ensure we can tailor the guest experience accordingly during that period. Managing availability in this way is common practice across the hotel industry during periods of expected high demand.”
