United have only a couple of days left until our Premier League campaign gets underway away to Nottingham Forest.
So, any business the club needs to conduct ought to be pushed through soon before the deadline. And, with the clock ticking, outbound business has an added layer of difficulty to it.

A report from the Daily Mail’s Simon Jones claims that Leeds striker Lukas Nmecha is now the subject of strong interest from Championship side Wrexham.
Phil Parkinson’s side, backed by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, haven’t sat back and relaxed on their Championship status since rising into the EFL. And, Nmecha could be their most ambitious plot yet.
It’s claimed that the Welsh side are looking at Nmecha alongside free agent Axel Tuanzebe this week.
Nmecha, 27, is into the final year of his contract at Leeds, having joined as a free agent last summer after leaving Wolfsburg.

We’re already in the market for a new striker this summer after seeing Joel Piroe head to West Ham. So, if we were willing to let Nmecha leave to the division below as well, that makes our task even tougher.
Leeds simply cannot go into this season without another striker added to compete with Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Cashing in on Nmecha, while that may boost the budget as ‘pure profit’, makes our recruitment more of a headache.
We’d need two strikers, not one, and we have less than two weeks left in the window. It’s not wise at all to agree to such a transfer at this stage.
I can’t see any reason right now why Leeds would accept any offer from Wrexham. Unless we have two strikers lined up, it doesn’t make sense.
