Investment in GP surgery buildings across Lincolnshire could create capacity for about 338,000 extra appointments each year.
NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) said 28 practices received upgrades or building reconfigurations through the Primary Care Utilisation and Modernisation Fund.
Among the completed schemes it listed were Long Bennington Medical Centre and Harrowby Lane Surgery, serving patients in and around the Grantham area.

The programme has created extra consulting and clinical rooms, with the ICB saying the changes will help practices increase appointment capacity and improve access to care.
Lincolnshire practices received more than £1.2m through the fund, while the wider Midlands secured more than £18m. Across the region, the investment is expected to provide capacity for a further 2.6m appointments.
The ICB said GP practices in Lincolnshire delivered 5,888,183 appointments across 81 practices during 2025/26.
The improvements form part of a wider drive to move more healthcare into communities and reduce pressure on hospitals.
The Government has also announced a 10-year capital development plan for the NHS, with a health capital budget due to rise to £15bn in 2029/30.
Ministers say the long-term programme will fund repairs, new facilities, technology upgrades and other projects intended to modernise the health service.
Health minister Karin Smyth said patients and staff deserved “modern buildings, reliable equipment and services fit for the future”.
She said: “Too many NHS buildings are crumbling and outdated. This government is taking the long-term decisions needed to rebuild the health service.”
The Government says it has already funded almost 800 upgrades to GP surgeries across England, creating space for an estimated nine million extra appointments.
A further £200m will support more GP surgery expansion and modernisation.
The capital plan also commits the Government to delivering 250 Neighbourhood Health Centres, bringing GPs, diagnostic tests, community services and other care together under one roof.
It also includes at least £6.75bn over nine years to repair hospitals, replace unsafe buildings and tackle maintenance backlogs.
Other proposals include improving the NHS App, introducing a Single Patient Record and investing £650m in genomics over five years.
The Government says wider NHS reforms have helped waiting lists fall by more than 400,000 since July 2024, while patient satisfaction with GP access has risen to 76%.
