A teenager was arrested

Armed police were called to a popular park in Bristol after receiving reports of a fight involving a “number of males” with a suggestion weapons may have been involved.
The incident happened at Stoke Park at around 2.18pm.
Avon and Somerset Police officers – some of whom were armed – were called because of reports of weapons being used.
A witness said they saw police along Romney Road, in Lockleaze, at the entrances to the park.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He remains in police custody at this time, police said.
Officers remain in the area and enquiries are being carried out into the incident.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at 2.18pm to reports of an altercation involving a number of males in Stoke Park, Bristol.
“Police attended, including armed officers, due to a suggestion there may have been weapons involved.
“A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
“He remains in police custody.
“Officers remain in the area and are carrying out enquiries into the incident.”
