Evanna Lynch, famed for her role as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film franchise, has recently gotten married in London.
On Friday, 21 August, the 35-year-old wed her partner Denis Skinner at an intimate ceremony in the capital, British Vogue has reported.
The couple, who have been dating for five years, were joined by dog Milo for the “very sweet and simple” service at Islington Town Hall.

The actor, who first shot to fame in 2007’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoneix, said she consulted an astrologist to help with the wedding planning and eventually scheduled the event for August 21.
She explained to the outlet that her desired date of August 22 was unavailable, and she was also cautious of avoiding the solar eclipse the week prior.
“I can totally see why. Lots of my friends have been sick, or a family member has died – it’s been very dramatic.”
Lynch explained that she was intially “disparaging” of the thought of planning a wedding, calling it “over the top” and “so lavish”.
However, she said she has since realised how “unique and special” the process was.
The couple became engaged in 2023, two years after first meeting in a London pub where Skinner was working as a bartender.
Prior to landing the role of Luna, the eccentric and whimsical witch, Lynch was a pen pal of JK Rowling‘s.

The actress, from Co Louth, was battling an eating disorder at the time and wrote to the author about her own insecurities and struggles.
Lynch has continued to pursue acting since the Harry Potter series ended in 2011 and has featured in films such as My Name Is Emily and G.B.F., and made TV appearances in Sinbad and Dragon Striker.
