A crash has closed the A470 Crimea Pass. It has happened between Roman Bridge turn off (Dolwyddelan) and Plas Weunydd Hotel (Rhiwbryfdir).
An Inrix traffic monitoring service statement said: “A470 in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to accident between Roman Bridge turn off (Dolwyddelan) and Plas Weunydd Hotel (Rhiwbryfdir).”
A North Wales Police Conwy and Dennigh Rural statement said: “Please be aware that the A470 at the Crimea Pass is currently closed due to a collision.
“Please avoid the area and use alternative routes whilst emergency services are in attendance.”
An air ambulance landed at the scene, before flying to the Royal Stoke University Hospital, which has a specialist trauma unit.
