Firefighters have been battling a major blaze at a factory building in Rea Street South, Digbeth, on Tuesday morning.
Multiple emergency calls were received just before 9am, prompting the initial dispatch of 10 fire crews to the scene.
The response was later stepped up to 12 crews, supported by four additional vehicles and around 50 firefighters in total.
The fire is affecting two floors of the three-storey building, which sits next to the Islamic Relief headquarters on the same street.
Drone footage shows severe damage to the roof and visible destruction across the upper levels of the building.
