Leeds United have put Nottingham Forest to the sword twice in four days, and the Reds are reacting by signing a reported target of the 49ers’.
Leeds are off to a flier this season with back-to-back wins over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League and then EFL Cup.
Both sides will be hoping to be around mid-table at least this season. But, a lot of work must be done in the final days of the transfer window.

Two games against Leeds have produced zero goals for Oliver Glasner’s Forest, thanks in part to James Trafford’s heroics.
However, it’s an area of the pitch both sides have wanted to strengthen with a robus target man. Both clubs were interested in signing Liam Delap from Chelsea after a torrid campaign at Stamford Bridge.
Now, Forest have won the race to sign the 23-year-old. They agreed an eye-watering £45million deal plus a further £5million in add-ons to sign him from Chelsea.
Leeds, meanwhile, will be on the look-out for a more cost effective solution after recent ‘interest’ in signing the former Ipswich Town man.

Spending that much on a player who’s just had an absolutely terrible season is really bizarre business.
Forest obviously have a hole burning in their pocket after Elliot Anderson’s exit, but spending it like this doesn’t seem all that wise.
Is Delap a potentially good option for a mid-table side? Yes, I’d have taken him at Leeds.
But, is spending that much on Delap a wise move? Absolutely not, there’s so much risk involved with signing someone struggling so much for form, and committing to that fee is mind-blowing.
I would’ve taken Delap on an initial loan, because there’s no commitment. This looks and feels like a bit of a panic from Forest.
