The full line-up of hosts for Philippine Selection Night, the nation’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, has been revealed ahead of this Sunday’s final.

ABS-CBN has announced that alongside Vice Ganda, Darren Espanto and Alexa Ilacad will be hosting the final of the Philippines selection for the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia. Darren Espanto is a singer, personality and actor who rose to fame after competing in The Voice Kids Philippines when he was 13. Since then, he has gone on to have a series of top ten singles, as well as television appearances and acting roles. Alexa Ilacad is an actress, singer and model, who is best known as a television presenter,

In addition, the broadcaster has also released official visualisers of the ten songs competing to represent the Philippines in Bangkok this November.

The final of Philippine Selection Night will take place on August 30. The show will be hosted by Vice Ganda, one of the most successful entertainers, comedians and hosts in the Philippines. The results will be decided by votes of a professional jury (40%), voters in the Philippines (40%) and voters in the rest of the world (20%). The winner will represent the Philippines in the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 in Bangkok.

Eurovision Song Contest Asia

The first Eurovision Song Contest Asia will be held on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Like the Eurovision Song Contest, each country’s participation is organised by a participating broadcaster. Each participating broadcaster is expected to select its entry through holding a national final in their country.

The format of the national selections will be revealed in the coming months, with some countries opting to hold multi-week selections.

The rules of the contest will match those of the Eurovision Song Contest, meaning that a song must not exceed 3 minutes in length and no more than 6 people can be on stage. The winner will be determined by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting.
