A man has been arrested following an alleged “disturbance” outside a Glasgow primary school. Police were alerted to the incident on Burndyke Court, outside Govan Gaelic Primary School at around 9am on Monday, August 31.
Around a dozen police officers could be seen attending the incident in a video clip shared on social media. In the video, several officers are in discussion with each other while others speak to members of the public.
Police vehicles lined the streets outside the school and it appears pupils have already entered their classrooms for the morning lessons, reports the Daily Record.
Police Scotland confirmed a 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene and he has now been charged in connection with the incident.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 9am on Monday, August 31 police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance in the Burndyke Court area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended and a 45-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
