“She is very laid-back without them on and she wasn’t wearing them last week when she worked at Ellerslie but she was better with them on this week,” Birchley said.
“She wore them when she won the Karaka Millions and will wear them on Saturday.
“It is hard for me to line up the form but the horse drawn next to us [She’s No Saint] looks hard to beat and our filly will definitely improve with this race.”
The TAB bookies couldn’t split She’s No Saint and Dream Roca as $3 equal-favourites last night but with the local filly race fit and drawn on the rail, she looks likely to start as the favourite – even though Dream Roca is more proven.
But there are plenty of fillies still on the way up who can challenge the pair.
