It has been a long wait for Leeds fans to see Gabriel Gudmundsson back in action in a competitive match for the Whites.
Before Leeds’ 1-1 draw against Brighton, the 27-year-old last featured for Leeds in April.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, Gudmundsson gave credit to the physio team for helping him through his recovery from a hamstring injury – and on Saturday’s game, added: “I feel Brighton is a difficult place to come.
“Last season we lost here quite badly, so I think we are doing some good stuff.”
Farke’s side are unbeaten in their first four matches of the season and face Chelsea next in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday.
“The process starts now, and it is going to get better and better for us,” said Gudmundsson.
