Earlier today, on September 8, The Prince and Princess of Wales accompanied their 13-year-old son George on his first day at Eton College.
The family were dressed smartly for the occasion with Prince William and George both walking side-by-side in navy suits and blue ties, paired with brown suede footwear. As ever, Catherine looked the part in a long-sleeved, olive green dress that featured a fit-and-flare silhouette, a flattering square neckline and long sleeves – that were a fitting choice for the rainy weather.
This isn’t the first time the Princess has worn this exact Emilia Wickstead gown, having sported it three years prior, in 2023, while hosting Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel at Windsor Castle. Back in July, Catherine presented the trophy at The Wimbledon men’s final wearing another green Emilia Wickstead dress – only this time, the shade was a pale olive colour. The frock felt familiar yet elevated from what she had been wearing in recent appearances and boasted a directional edge, thanks to the dramatic asymmetric sleeves.

As for a more formal take, in March of this year, the Princess chose an emerald green gown to attend a State Banquet in St George’s Hall during a state visit by The President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria And Mrs. Tinubu. The dazzling gown was by Singaporean designer Andrew Gn and featured a floor-length silhouette with a high neck and long sleeves that ruched gracefully into fitted cuffs.
