Medivine Salon opened nearly three years ago in Birmingham city centre and has quickly become an independent beauty parlour with glowing reviews
The independent unisex hair and beauty salon in Burlington Arcade offers everything from hairdressing to manicures, pedicures and other nail services.
Owner Milad Yousifi, who was born in Iran but settled in Birmingham at a young age, used his experience working in a beauty salon as a hairdresser to set up on his own and now has a dedicated team of five staff.

His efforts have also earned Medivine Salon an impressive 4.9 rating out of 5 online from over 1,000 Google reviews. Happy clients rave about the beauty services as “wonderful”, adding how the staff are “professional” and “friendly”.
The salon even counts sports stars from the worlds of football and cricket among its clientele. It has glamorous surroundings amid the enchanting Burlington arcade, neighbouring high-end jewellery and clothes stores.
Medivine Salon’s services include personalised haircuts, colouring, and styling to make “stunning, tailor-made” looks. They also do waxing, eyelashes, threading, nails and men’s grooming for beards, haircuts and shaves.
“I’m always looking for high quality and luxury products,” explained Milad, aged 30.
“The shampoo I use costs £60 a litre because it’s the best for hair. Some of the products I use include high quality Après Beauty from America and Maria Nila’s Stockholm brand. I put a lot of value in having products that are good for people’s hair.
“We do wedding make-up for brides too.
“My salon is for people who care about themselves.”
