Banking giant Barclays has announced major brand partnerships with two of the biggest and busiest live music venues in the UK – Manchester’s Co-op Live and The O2 in London.
The high street lender has become “Founding Partner” of Co-op Live, and “Principal Partner” of The O2 in what is understood to be a multi-year deal with both venues announced on Wednesday.
Barclays say its customers can “now snap up specially reserved tickets across both venues and gain access to premium lounges and hospitality suites at The O2 and Co-op Live, offering unique experiences and some of the best views across both venues.”
It has pointed to the UK arena exclusives being staged at Manchester’s Co-op Live by the likes of Robbie Williams, Morrissey and Olivia Rodrigo this summer, as well as Lady Gaga kickstarting her European tour at London’s The O2.
The latest sponsorship deals come as Barclays celebrate 25 years offering what it says is “unparalleled access to the biggest moments in music, sport and the arts through their committed sponsorships.”
Tom Corbett, Managing Director of Sponsorship and Client Experience at Barclays, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our new partnerships with Co-op Live and The O2.
“These world-class venues join our growing entertainment portfolio, reinforcing Barclays as a leading brand in entertainment, across music, sports and the arts.
“These partnerships also mean even more exclusive perks and unforgettable experiences for our customers.”
