Arne Engels arrived at Celtic from the Bundesliga, becoming the club’s record transfer signing.

Celtic paid Augsburg £11.5m for Engels and in his first season at the club the 21-year-old has made a huge impact.

With a league title and Scottish League Cup already under his belt, Engels’ 53 appearances for Celtic have also produced 10 goals and 13 assists.

Voted Celtic’s Young Player of the Year, the Belgian is proving to be an integral part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans and according to a new study, Engels’ value continues to soar as he enjoys his first season in a title-winning side.
