Coronation Street’s dramatic week isn’t over yet, as the Weatherfield residents are forced to come to terms with Craig Tinker’s tragic death.

Fans should also brace themselves for even more jeopardy. What will happen to Kit Green and Bernie Winter as they face off against dangerous killer Mick Michaelis?

Following Craig’s dramatic exit, here’s our quick guide to 5 big moments still to come in Friday’s episode (23 May).

1. Lisa receives the tragic newsvicky myers as ds lisa swain in coronation street

Lisa receives a call from Craig’s long-time police colleague Jess, who’s still at the hospital. She’s eager to hear some positive news after the horrors of the day, but how will she react when she learns that Craig has sadly died?

Later, the devastating turn of events has a major impact on Lisa as she confides in Carla about how she’s now more determined than ever to grab happiness whenever she can.

2. Kirk breaks the newskirk sutherland, david platt, maria connor, steve mcdonald, coronation street

There’s a mournful atmosphere on the cobbles as the news of Craig’s death spreads. Tim, Sally, Gemma and Chesney are among those who reflect on his untimely demise.

Spoiler pictures from Friday’s episode also show Glenda, Steve, David, Asha, Gary, Sean, Kirk and Maria united in their sorrow at the pub.

Kirk takes on the sombre task of calling Craig’s mum Beth, who left the show last year, letting her know what has happened to her son.

3. Concern grows over Loulou michaelis, mick michaelis, coronation street

Lou was last seen caught up in Mick’s dramas as she refused to give him an alibi for the time of Craig’s attack.

Tim continues to look after Mick and Lou’s daughters Shanice and Joanie while their parents are both AWOL. What has happened to Lou?

4. Mick makes his demandsmick michaelis, bernie winter, coronation street

Mick holds Bernie captive on some wasteground as he prepares to unleash his latest dark plan. Bernie tries to put him off, insisting that trying to use her as a bargaining chip won’t work as Kit has repeatedly made it clear that he doesn’t care about her.

Mick goes ahead anyway – calling Kit and summoning him to the scene. He warns Kit to come alone if he wants Bernie to be unharmed.

5. Kit and Mick’s showdown plays outmick, bernie, kit, coronation street

ITV

Kit reluctantly complies with Mick’s instructions, arriving at the wasteground and bracing himself for the battle ahead.

Bernie knows she and Kit may not have long left together, so she tries to prove how much she cares about him one last time. Bernie explains she tried to contact Kit several years ago, but his adopted mum stood in the way.

Will Kit risk his own life to help Bernie, or walk away from her for good?
