A man who died after falling from a bridge in Birmingham has been identified.
West Midlands Police said he was hit by a number of vehicles after falling near the Quinton Expressway and Ridgacre Road West at around 10.10pm on Monday, May 19.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, nothing could be done to save him.

The force said officers had now identified the man after making an appeal for information.
His family were being supported by specialist officers and his name was not disclosed.

A statement said: “A man who tragically died on Quinton Expressway on Monday night has been identified.
“Our thoughts are with his loved ones and we’re doing all we can to support them during this devastating time. “We appreciate all the information you provided following our appeal.”
The drivers involved remained at the scene of the incident and were helping police with their investigation.
