Harmeet Singh and Andries Gous could only manage 13 runs from the USA Super Over, with Jatinder smashing 12 runs from the first three deliveries of Oman’s extra over to virtually clinch the victory.
The win sees Oman move past Scotland and up to third place on the League 2 standings, while USA remain in second spot.
Oman will be back in action on Friday when they take on Canada at the same venue in Lauderhill.
