The first group task of Celebrity Big Brother’s 2025 series has been confirmed.
The ITV reality show officially returned to screens earlier this week, with an epic launch show unveiling the celebrities in this year’s line-up.
During last night’s episode of spin-off show Late and Live, host AJ Odudu unveiled an exclusive clip from tonight’s episode of the main show, which confirmed that the first group task of the series will see the house be hit with a power outage.
“Housemates, as you may have noticed, the house has been hit by an unexpected power outage. All of your current appliances are unusable, nothing works,” Big Brother tells the housemates, who are all gathered on the sofa.
“Your task today is to use your celebrity star power to recharge the back-up battery and restore full power to the house. Throughout the day, housemates will need to deliver electrifying performances on the star power stage.”

In another exclusive clip from Late and Live, we see Chesney Hawkes performing as Michael and Danny fan-girl over him – which appears to be part of the task.
Tonight’s episode will also see the first housemate be evicted from the house, with Jack P Shepherd, Michael Fabricant and Mickey Rourke all on the chopping block.
Jack and Michael received the most votes from their fellow housemates with eight and seven respectively, while Mickey was secretly given a killer nomination by JoJo Siwa.

“Shall I pack now?” Mickey joked upon the announcement, with Big Brother replying: “Relax Mickey, stay where you are.”
Mickey has received a formal warning from Big Brother over his use of “offensive” and “unacceptable” language towards JoJo, and has also been called out by fans around his behaviour towards host AJ Odudu during the launch show.
Celebrity Big Brother airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
