Edinburgh emergency services on scene of 'incident' at busy retail car park

Emergency services in Edinburgh were on the scene of an incident at a busy retail park on Wednesday afternoon.

Police and paramedics were at Hermiston Gait near the Tesco supermarket around 4pm on May 21.

The exact nature of the incident is unknown at this time, however locals reported seeing an ‘injured man’ at the scene.

Pictures shared with Edinburgh Live, show several ambulances and police cars in attendance.

Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
