A teenage boy who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Sparkbrook is continuing to recover from his injuries in hospital.
The boy was hit by a vehicle on Ladypool Road shortly before 12.10pm on Monday, May 19.
Paramedics treated him for serious injuries at the scene before he was rushed to hospital where he continues to recover.

Ladypool Road was cordoned off following the incident.
Detectives have yet to find the driver who was involved despite ongoing enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
Issuing a new statement, a West Midlands Police spokesperson told BirminghamLive: “The teenage boy who was hurt remains in hospital where he is recovering from his injuries. “No arrests have been made. Our enquiries are ongoing as officers try to identify the driver involved.”
The force previously said: “We were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Ladypool Road at around 12.10pm.

“A teenage boy was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“The car left the scene following the collision and we’re carrying out enquiries to trace the vehicle and driver.
